May 4, 2020 – Motorcycle involved in fatal crash with an 18-Wheeler 

As reported by KPRC 2 News, a person was killed when an 18-Wheeler and motorcyclist collided on May 4, 2020, at around 3:45 pm. The incident occurred on Highway 290 near Gessner road.

April 22, 2020 – Driver Killed in Collision with Big-Rig

A 34-year-old man was killed when trying to pass an 18-wheeler that was reversing on a commercial street according to an article reported by Chron. The accident occurred at the 6000 block of Nunn Street near Lindbergh street in southeast Houston. The semi-truck was facing southbound in the northbound lane when it began to reverse, drifting into the southbound lane. The driver of a Cadillac attempted to pass the reversing big-rig, colliding with its trailer. The driver succumbed to his injuries as a result of the collision.

April 16, 2020 – Child Killed in Collision Involving Semi-Truck

A four-year-old child was killed when his mother’s car collided with an 18-Wheeler, as reported by KPRC 2 News. The fatal truck accident happened on the East Sam Houston Parkway at Highway 90. The young boy was thrown from the car during the collision leaving investigators to believe that he may not have been properly restrained. The child’s mother and sister also sustained injuries from the crash.

April 13, 2020 – Two Die and One Seriously Injured in Collision involving Semi-Truck

As reported by ABC 13, a man narrowly escaped death when trying to help motorists who were stranded on the North Freeway. As the man tried to help the two individuals, an Amazon delivery truck slammed into their vehicle. The two motorists were killed while the man who tried to help them jumped out of the way, falling 15 feet from I-45. As a result of the fall, both of his legs had to be amputated. Two young children survived the collision with the semi.
