Southeast Houston H-E-B sued for $1 million after concrete spheres in front of the building fail. According to the Houston Chronicle, a 31-year-old woman was killed when a driver crashed through the concrete spheres in front of a Houston H-E-B store. The concrete spheres are designed to prevent a person from being able to drive through the store, injuring customers. Both the driver of the vehicle and H-E-B are named in the lawsuit.

Shopper sues Houston H-E-B after slip-and-fall in a restroom. According to the Southeast Texas Record, the customer is seeking at least $200,000 after he sustained “serious and permanent injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain, physical impairment and disfigurement, and lost wages.”

A woman is seeking damages for injuries related to a trip-and-fall at a northwest Houston H-E-B store. According to the Southeast Texas Record, the injuries were caused as a result of an empty pallet sitting in the aisle. In her claim against the grocer, the shopper alleges that they failed to warn about the pallet, and the aisle “was not clear, safe, and free of tripping hazards.”

Judge upholds a $35,000 settlement agreement between attorneys in a Walmart slip-and-fall case. According to the Southeast Texas Record, the lawsuit arose when loose grapes injured a shopper at the retail giant.

According to the Houston Chronicle, a woman injured during Black Friday shopping at Houston Walmart sues for “failure to provide adequate security and crowd control.”

Houston Walmart sued after woman trips over dolly left in the walkway according to the Southeast Texas Record. She is seeking damages for “past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, impairment, and disfigurement.”
